Yes. HybriSil™ was designed with the patient in mind. After HybriSIl™ has been applied and has dried, make-up and sunscreen can be used as usual.

How long do I need to use HybriSil?

It is recommended that you discuss with your physician the treatment length necessary to optimize results with HybriSIl™. We recommend application for 60 days, once in the morning and once in the evening to obtain optimal results. It may take longer to get results on larger and older scars. If you continue to see results beyond 60 days, your doctor may recommend that you maintain treatment.

How should I use HybriSil™?

• Clean and Dry the affected area
• Apply an even coat of HybriSil™ gel to the affected area and allow to dry. This should take less than a minute.
• You may gently massage the gel into the skin for short period of time following application.
• After the gel is dry, be careful to not excessively rub the area to prevent sloughing of the clear dressing.
• For maximum results, HybriSil™ needs to maintain contact of the affected area for 24 hours of the day.
• Apply HybriSil™ twice a day, morning and night.
• Once HybriSil™ gel cures, you may utilize pressure garments, bandages, sun blocks or cosmetics. Talk to your doctor about the appropriate bandages and dressings because some may increase the rate and amount of corticosteroid absorption.
• HybriSil is effective in treating new and old scars resulting from burns, injury or surgery.
